Maya Erskine is the creator and writer of the limited series and is also starring opposite Nicole Kidman. While it’s not yet been declared which roles they will be playing, it’s likely that Erskine will be playing the nanny while Kidman will play the mother of the children. “The Perfect Nanny” was named one of the 10 Best Books of the Year by The New York Times Book Review, so there’s already plenty of esteem surrounding the title before the series shoots a single frame.
Kidman and Per Saari are executive producing for Kidman’s Blossom Films, and Erskine is also executive producing alongside Pascal Caucheteux for Why Not Productions in addition to Philippe Godeau for Pan-Européenne.
